Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the CricNoble platform. By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and CricNoble ("we", "us", "our"). Your access to and use of the platform is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.

2. Description of Service

CricNoble is an online platform that enables users to:

• Create and manage cricket tournaments in various formats (Round Robin, Knockout, Group Stage).
• Record live ball-by-ball match scores and view real-time scorecards.
• Manage teams, players, registrations, and tournament fixtures.
• Access player and team statistics, points tables, and match history.
• Share tournament results and live scores with fans via shareable links.

3. User Accounts

To access most features of CricNoble, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your password.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account, and you confirm this when you sign up. If the law where you live requires a higher age (for example 18 in India for consent to data processing), you may use CricNoble only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Accounts created by individuals who do not meet these requirements will be terminated without notice.

When you sign up we record the version of these Terms and our Privacy Policy that you accepted and when.

4. Tournament Organiser Responsibilities

If you create a tournament on CricNoble, you take on the role of Tournament Organiser and agree to:

• Provide accurate tournament details including dates, format, and rules.
• Conduct the tournament fairly and in accordance with the rules you publish on the platform.
• Ensure that all participating teams and players are aware of, and consent to, the information being recorded on CricNoble — including names, photos, dates of birth, statistics, and any live-stream or video of matches.
• Obtain a parent's or guardian's permission before adding, photographing, recording or streaming any player under 18 (or the age of majority where they live).
• Remove or correct a player's record promptly when they, or their parent or guardian, ask.
• Manage team registrations, fixtures, and match scoring responsibly.
• Not create fraudulent, misleading, or duplicate tournaments.

CricNoble is not responsible for disputes arising between organisers, teams, or players regarding tournament conduct, results, or prize distribution. CricNoble does not hold, process or guarantee entry fees or prizes; any money arrangement is solely between you and the other parties.

4A. AI Features

"Know the Rule" and the reschedule assistant use AI provided by third parties. Answers and suggested schedules may be incomplete or wrong and are not official rulings or decisions. Organisers remain responsible for the rules they apply and the fixtures they publish, and should check suggestions before applying them. Your questions and the tournament information needed to answer them are sent to the AI provider as described in our Privacy Policy.

4B. Imported Statistics

You may import your own career statistics from another scoring service only if the profile is yours and doing so does not breach that service's terms. We are not affiliated with those services. Imported figures are shown on your profile, are kept separate from statistics scored on CricNoble, and do not count towards CricNoble leaderboards. We may review, hold or remove any import.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CricNoble to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, federal, or international law or regulation.
• Upload or transmit any content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform or its servers.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, other user accounts, or our backend systems.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the platform without prior written consent.
• Record or distribute false match scores or fabricated player statistics.
• Upload photos, video or other content of another person without the right to do so.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, trademarks, and software on CricNoble — including the name "CricNoble", logos, and original text — are the intellectual property of CricNoble and are protected by applicable laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

Tournament data, match scores, and statistics entered by you remain your data. By submitting content to the platform, you grant CricNoble a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content to operate the service, and you confirm you have the right to do so. Some content (such as tournament names, results, scorecards and player statistics) may be visible to others according to the organiser's settings. If you believe content on CricNoble infringes your rights or is about you without permission, email us at the address below with the link and details, and we will review it and remove it where appropriate.

7. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. USE OF THE PLATFORM IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CRICNOBLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of $50 USD or the amount you have paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account) or as described at cricnoble.com/delete-account. Deletion anonymises, rather than erases, tournament, match and player records that other users rely on, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

9A. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify CricNoble against claims arising from content you submit or tournaments you run in breach of these Terms, including claims by players or parents about information you recorded without permission.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending you an email. Your continued use of the platform after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in North Carolina, United States.
